Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh rankedHavirov and 5th ranked Brno B had identical 12-9 record. This time Havirov used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Brno 76-72 on Sunday night. Havirov forced 25 Brno B turnovers. Strangely Brno B outrebounded Havirov 42-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Eliska Kubickova (174-2003) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Veronika Szabo (175-2003) accounted for 12 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Havirov players scored in double figures. Lenka Soukalova (180-1997) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and center Tereza Travnickova (189-2005) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Brno B in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Havirov (13-9) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sokol Nusle. Loser Brno B dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Olomouc.
